Lisa Thurman, lead vocalist and guitarist, has had a successful year writing and recording original songs. She grew up singing in chorus, having spent her formative years in the Mississippi Delta and the Appalachian Mountains. She was influenced by both delta blues and mountain music. In college, she played quitar and sang in coffee houses. At that time, she had enough material to record an album, but pursued academics and social work for a number of years. She has a Doctorate in Holistic Health Sciences. Lisa was Co-producer of the CD, 'Santa Fe'.
